If you or someone you care about has come out as LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual or other queer identity), then PFLAG Sandy Springs support, discussion, and education meetings are here for you.

We host general support meetings in person, usually on the first Tuesday of the month, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. When our meeting space is not available on the first Tuesday of the month, we meet on the second Tuesday instead. Here are our meeting dates for 2025:
November 4th
December 2nd
We host three separate groups at each meeting:
- LGBTQ+ adults, ages 18+
- LGBTQ+ teens and teen allies, ages 13 – 18
- Parents, Friends, and Allies
You can find us in the community rooms at Congregation B’nai Torah, located at 700 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Click here for directions.
We are not currently hosting any virtual meetings. However, you may find a virtual meeting that meets your needs by clicking the PFLAG Connects: Communities links below or by searching for virtual meetings hosted by other chapters.
What to Expect at a Support Group
- A warm welcome
- Caring facilitators
- A guided discussion focused on your needs
- And, most importantly, confidentiality
You are welcome to participate in the discussion if you feel comfortable, or you can simply observe. There is never a cost to attend any of our meetings.
